Prime Scale Fulfillment is a China-based fulfillment company operating under Dutch law. We are the data controller for the data collected through our Shopify app.

2. What data we collect and why
When you install our Shopify app, we collect and store the following information:
Shop domain (e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com) — to identify your store and associate your data with your account.
Shopify access token — a secure credential issued by Shopify that allows our app to read your store's fulfilled order data. This token is stored encrypted and is never shared.
App install date — the date you first installed the app. Used to calculate how many orders have been shipped since you joined us.
Onboarding status — a boolean flag (true/false) that records whether you have completed the app's onboarding screen. This prevents the welcome screen from appearing repeatedly.
We also read the following data from your Shopify store in real time to display inside the app. This data is never stored on our servers — it is fetched, displayed, and discarded:
Fulfilled orders from your store — order number, fulfillment date, tracking number, carrier name, destination country, and fulfillment status.
3. What we do not collect
We do not collect any personal data of your customers.
We do not collect payment information of any kind.
We do not collect your email address or personal contact details through the app.
We do not use cookies or tracking pixels.
We do not run analytics on your store behavior.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
We process your data on the basis of contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) — the data collected is the minimum required to provide the app service you have requested by installing our app.
5. How long we keep your data
Your shop domain, access token, install date, and onboarding status are kept for as long as your app is installed.
When you uninstall the app, all data associated with your store is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
You can request immediate deletion by contacting us at privacy@primescalefulfillment.com.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be accessed by:
Our hosting provider (Vercel, Railway, or Render) — for the purpose of running the app server. These providers are GDPR-compliant and data is processed within the EU or under appropriate safeguards.
Shopify — the access token is used to make API calls to Shopify's servers on your behalf.
7. Data security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of access tokens and HTTPS-only communication between the app and our servers. Access to stored data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
8. Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right of access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data. Uninstalling the app triggers automatic deletion within 30 days, or you can request immediate deletion by email.
Right to restriction — you can ask us to restrict processing of your data.
Right to data portability — you can ask us to provide your data in a machine-readable format.
Right to object — you can object to our processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@primescalefulfillment.com. We will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
9. International data transfers
Our app server may be hosted on infrastructure located outside the Netherlands. Any such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) as required by GDPR.
10. Children
Our app is a business tool intended for Shopify merchants. It is not directed at children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
